Costumes

This page will highlight some of the many costumes I've made over the years.

This is Cooper, created in 2011 for Vacation Bible School.

The items here are some of the costumes I have made, and in some cases, I'm still working on. We wanted a dozen costumed people to attend different Bi-Centennial events in our county this year.

This is Parson Jeff, the Circuit-Riding Minister. I made the vest and tie, and I am working on the Frock Coat, which will be black.

This is Captain Logan, the Shawnee Indian who befriended the settlers of a unique settlement, the place where two rivers meet, and they named the town after him.

This lady is wearing a skirt of ruching and ruffles. The skirt alone was 11 yards of fabric!

This is a frontier-style shirt with gathering below the yoke, and full sleeves. I didn't work on the ladies dress as she already had it from another activity.

A group photo.

This photo includes the purple dress, the civil war costume, and the frock coat for the parson.
