I used the pre-colored digi stamp and placed it on a scalloped background, using pop dots to give it dimension. I LOVE the non-traditional colors in this! The background paper has all those cute presents on it, and I cut out the extra pink one and used a pop dot to give it dimension, too! I cut out some holly and stuck in behind the main image, added a thread bow with a little bell on it, and this card is finished! I can't wait to send it to a friend this year!

Cards and Cards!

Today is my post for Happy Print Club, and I'm so happy about these cards! First of all, I think they are perfect for note cards, but mostly, I think they are just perfect for gifts! I made sets of 4 cards with matching envelopes, then wrapped each set in a bow. Didn't they turn out gorgeous?

Another nice thing is the versatility... I plan to stamp different sentiments on the inside, so they can be used for birthday, get well, or thinking of you cards. You know, I made these for gifts, but having a stack on hand for myself is a pretty good idea, too. Thanks for stopping by today!

Proverbs

There is something about this card that I just LOVE! I'm not sure if it's the verse, the layout, or the colors, but it just calms my heart. Daffodil and Daisy

Hi! This cute little fellow today is from All Dressed Up, and it's my DT card for {PIN}spirational Challenges!

I created this shaker card using the Floral Fantasy printables from the Happy Print Club! I cropped the sentiment and printed it on clear cardstock on my laser printer, then used my Minc machine to add the foil, then printed the card, removed the sentiment and replaced it with the foiled one. Then I created the shaker card! I think it turned out so cute!

Baby Shy

Today's a new challenge over at {PIN}spirational Challenges! I've created a card using the Baby Shy digi from Sasayaki Glitter. 

Actually, I have to brag on my granddaughter just a little bit. She's twelve and very artistic. I let her use my alcohol markers to color one afternoon, and she just took off! She colored this digi in about 20 minutes and I think she did a great job! Her twin sister really picked up on the shading with these alcohol markers, too! I'm so thankful they enjoy spending time in the craft room with me! 

Anyway, I loved the bright colors that she used, and added the fish and bubbles to the side panel of the card for some whimsy. Thanks for looking today and I hope you'll link up your creation for the new challenge. Thanks for looking!

Funny Valentine

Owl With Flowers

Today is the first challenge of the new year over at {PIN}spirational Challenges! This is a cute owl digi from KittyBee called "Hanging Around" Owl. 

This was colored with my Spectrum Noir markers and flowers were added from "Birds and Blooms" by Heartfelt Creations.

Here's a close up of the flowers. SO dimensional and cute! I think they really added to the owl's tree limb and softened the corner of the focal!

Patchwork Heart

Hi! Here's a cute Thank You card that was made using a file called Patchwork Heart Key Card. I made the patchwork and pierced along the seams and used a marker to add faux stitching, then took the Valentine word off and added my own "Grateful" and added the bow instead of a key. I LOVE it! Butterfly
