Cards and Cards!

Today is my post for Happy Print Club, and I'm so happy about these cards! First of all, I think they are perfect for note cards, but mostly, I think they are just perfect for gifts! I made sets of 4 cards with matching envelopes, then wrapped each set in a bow. Didn't they turn out gorgeous?
Another nice thing is the versatility... I plan to stamp different sentiments on the inside, so they can be used for birthday, get well, or thinking of you cards. You know, I made these for gifts, but having a stack on hand for myself is a pretty good idea, too. Thanks for stopping by today!

Let's Play Pool

Today's the new challenge over at Decorate to Celebrate! I have created this great pool table box from SVGCuts. I LOVE how it turned out! The green paper has a soft, almost felted texture, making it perfect for the top of the table, and I found a piece of leather-look paper in my stash that made this thing look even more realistic.

We visited friends a few weeks ago, and they had a gorgeous pool table in their home. Since they are moving, I wanted to make this for them. Now the hubs wants one to take to work for his desk! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look today! Hugs!

Proverbs

There is something about this card that I just LOVE! I'm not sure if it's the verse, the layout, or the colors, but it just calms my heart. This is my project for the newest challenge over at {PIN}spirational Challenges. I hope you'll create your own project and join us in this challenge. Our generous sponsors are The Cutting Cafe and Limited Runs.
I used Our Daily Bread Designs stamps and dies on this card. I love how the burgundy butterfly accents the diamond pattern of the paper.
Create, create, create, and enter our challenge! Thanks for stopping by!

Peacock Paisley Frame

Hi there! I created a housewarming gift for my friend and I'm sharing it with you today! It's my project for Decorate to Celebrate and... wait for it... there's a tutorial, too!

Here is the list of supplies that I used:

Heartfelt Creations Peacock Paisley Paper Collection
Feathery Peacock Cling Stamp Set
Peacock Paisley Die
Arianna Blooms Die
5 x 7 Shadow Box Frame
Black Ink
Black Swirls Bling
Chalk Inks
Foam Daubers
Blender Pen
Versamark Ink
Black Embossing Powder
Colored Markers
White and Black Cardstock
Foam Dots
Heat Embossing Tool
Shaping Tool and Mat
Adhesive-backed Pearl
Instructions:

Choose a 5 x 7 panel from the paper collection. Cut it out and stamp the peacock in a soft color on the panel. Do a little shading inside the image. Die cut the flower and stamen. Color the flower with markers and shape. Layer with foam dots and adhere to panel. Add pearl.

Stamp another peacock on white cardstock and shade lightly, then die cut. Adhere above the first image with foam dots. You can add the bling now or later.

Stamp a third image with Versamark and emboss with black embossing powder. Color the image and shade deeply with the sponge daubers. Protect the eye with a tiny piece of paper while shading.

Die cut the image after shading. Adhere to panel above second layer
with foam dots.

Insert into frame! That's it! You're done! This was a quick project with OUTSTANDING results!

Here is a photo that shows the three layers of die-cut peacocks. I think this could be done without shading the first two images, but I didn't know how much would show in the layers, so I added some.

I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial! Leave a comment and let me know what you think! Hugs!
