Christmas Tag Art

I spent a lot of time before, during, and after Christmas (I didn't get them all done before - oops!) making these decorations. I think I made 26 in all! It was lots of fun, and by the end I had learned every possible way to make them easier! You can't tell too much from the picture, but the styles included Victorian, Homespun, Polka Dots, Traditional, and Non-Traditional in teal blue. It was lots of fun! Come over sometime and we'll make some more!

Hi Debb, thanks so much for your sweet comment on my ODBD post this morning. It truly made my day! To answer your question if I have a tutorial to make the clay bir, no, but it is real easy to achieve. I bought a silicone mold on Etsy, I can give you a link if you care, bought some Crayola paper clay t Michael's you can use a coupon for it, and it comes out to be around $3). It only takes very little paper clay, you mush it aka condition it between your ingers and just push it into the mold. I like to get it all cleaned up and flush with the top so I get a flat back. Take the molded bird out of the mols very gently and set it aside for drying. It will not be super hard after it dries, but that is alright, allows you to play with it when you position it. I colored mine by simply using a sponge and some ink. Copics work well and acrylic paint, but I wanted it to stay sort of white with just a little hint of blue. Hope this helps and if you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me. My e-mail address is on my Blog. Have a blessed weekend! Hugs, Sabrina
